Thank you! Yes, it makes sense indeed to use some tiny fibers, it's a great idea!
And yes, you're right, I've just added some of my ceramic work, I thought maybe it was about time since I'm becoming a bit more confident now (I started just three years ago and got lots of misadventures with glazes and the like). I'm really glad you like it!
Hi Shatiel85, the whole thing is constructed on a styrofoam hollow ball and the towers are made from toiletpaper rolls. Inside the ball is indeed only 1 lightbulb (LED which doesn't get hot - otherwise the styrofoam would melt and the clay might catch fire). The styrofoam lets through light very well and when you place the towers you cut out a piece of the tower and a piece of the ball so enough light comes through.
wow thank you for the answer ^___^ and the explanation! i never seen any polystirene ball hollow so i was very curious
ahahaha i tought well that the towers were from toilet paper! XD
you had a very original idea very compliment! and with that idea of little planet you can create all little worlds that you want *__* and then...those little lights! i love them! i've always wanted something like that with little windows to light my room when i was kid...maybe Jill Barklem books and her little house for mice made me want one ehehe XD you made me want one again!!!
