Your skill with paperclay is really amazing. I tried it several times and I know how hard it is. Seriously, I can't work out how you make so fine details with this material. Beautiful!
Now I work with "paper clay" which is a mix of ceramic clay and paper, but you have to fire it.

Thank you! The brand I use is quite sturdy and the cellullose fibers are very small, so very suitable for detailed work.

Just went back to your gallery - I didn't see any clay work earlier, but I believe you just added it not? It's absolutley gorgeous!

Thank you! Yes, it makes sense indeed to use some tiny fibers, it's a great idea!
And yes, you're right, I've just added some of my ceramic work, I thought maybe it was about time since I'm becoming a bit more confident now (I started just three years ago and got lots of misadventures with glazes and the like). I'm really glad you like it!

Like it? I love it! Working with ceramic clay is on top of my list of crafts to learn. It's a lot more durable than paperclay...

Keep up the good work :D

do you use only one light bulb or do you put more in the side towers?

Hi Shatiel85, the whole thing is constructed on a styrofoam hollow ball and the towers are made from toiletpaper rolls. Inside the ball is indeed only 1 lightbulb (LED which doesn't get hot - otherwise the styrofoam would melt and the clay might catch fire). The styrofoam lets through light very well and when you place the towers you cut out a piece of the tower and a piece of the ball so enough light comes through.
